Feel the Force: the GeForce.
The holidays are over and I’ve seemingly left this blog idle for a little while with a lack of entries being made. The first week after returning being almost over now, I have the chance finally to write something with the free time I have. I’ve recently discovered that I have absolutely no respect at all for Chinese lecturers that teach a subject that so heavily uses the English language. Mind you, I am well aware that English is one of the most difficult languages to learn and it isn’t his fault or choice to be Chinese but who employs these people? It isn’t just how difficult it is to understand him that grates on my nerves; it’s his entire teaching method. Then again, this is coming from someone who adores a lecturer who’s method is to “wing it”.
I happened to pass that store again yesterday, you know, the one that had the ‘come in and get framed’ as its attracting sign. Well, they’ve done it again with their signs instead this one must be their store slogan, it read, “We don’t just frame. We care.” That’s great, because while they’re framing me, I’m off getting an expensive lawyer at their cost because they care. It touches me right to my very left ventricle. Ah, well for now my computer is looking a little happier: I happened to get my hand on a 64MB nVidia GeForce2 MX-200 graphics card just yesterday. A nice upgrade considering my last graphics card was a 16MB Diamond Viper V550 nVidia TNT; my new card even has its own fan. Feel the mighty force of the air being pumped out of my machine!
Actually, the air that does get outputted from my machine does make a nice warming device, but that’s for another story time. For now, I really must get some rest.
