Good morning gentlemen, you’ve all been called here for… well. How’s every little thing? Did you all read the last entry I posted? A Tease is about 900 words pulled out of a piece that at present stands at around 18,000 words. Yes, yes, I am working on something you might call a novel, eventually, a novella maybe. Something long anyway. I am having quite a fine time writing it, but its not particularly blog-friendly. Which brings me to the point: Eventually I’m hoping to finish it, then set it up to be printed and if you’d like a copy we can arrange some sort of postage money, and I’ll send it to you!

I haven’t decided how much more I’ll release to the blog, certainly not the whole thing, but maybe another little slice in a week or two will find its way here. I don’t know how much longer its going to get, I’m hoping for 30 or 40 thousand words, but we’ll see how it goes. In the meantime it might be a little quieter than usual here, as a lot of time goes into the writing of this other thing (which currently has no title, by the way). Do not fear, however, I am unlikely to abandon the blog- even if this book somehow hits the shelves and makes me a millionaire. Maybe then I’d get more visitors here…

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to you all, by the way, as I just let all that stuff slide. I’ve been reading far far too many blogs, and they were all plastered with Christmasy shit, and I got fed up with it, so figured you all might be too, so didn’t write a story about Christmas, or tell any of my own memories, or even weigh into the Attack on Christmas debate that’s been sweeping the blogosphere. But, nonetheless, I’m hoping you are all able to enjoy the holiday season in whatever way is most appropriate for you.
